When Shadow Creek first opened, John and Jeannine photographed the Tom Fazio designed course for the first edition of the Shadow Creek book. Now over 20 years later, a new version of the book has been released. Working on the first book was a highlight of their career and John and Jeannine were honored to once again be invited to photograph this spectacular course. Produced by MGM Resorts International, this elegant, 115 page coffee table book is a photographic study of the course built in the desert of North Las Vegas, Nevada. The book consists of 90 photographs and quotes from celebrities and sports figures who have frequently played rounds on the course.
Here’s a sampling of the images and corresponding quotes:

In the morning, a beguiling mist forms above the water that surrounds the island green on the challenging and picturesque par 3 hole #12 at Canada’s world renown Nicklaus North in Whistler, B.C. Canada. To capture this enchanting scene, time is of the essence. Here you can see John positioning the lift truck while the grounds crew busily preps the golf hole before the break of dawn light over the ridge. When the sun rose above the ridge it lite up the mist, streamed across the green, and created shadows across the mountains for an unforgettable scene.
